Dear Cider Canada / Cider Canada members,
The Cider Canada / Cidre Canada AGM is happening virtually March 8, 2022 at 1pm Eastern, and we need your help to identify and select the next Board of Directors of Cider Canada that will take the next important steps for the association.
The call for nominations is now open!
Please nominate yourself or someone from your company or organization that you feel has the skills, determination and passion for the Cider industry in Canada to help direct policy, advocacy and other planned activities.
It’s simple. Complete this form before March 4th , filling in as much information as you can and the Cider Canada team will organize the nominations for election day, March 8, 2022 at the AGM. Candidates’ information will be shared with members shortly before the meeting and there will be 2 minutes for each candidate to speak at the AGM, if they choose too.
As a reminder, the requirements for Board members are found on the form in terms of diversity requirements due to region, membership category and other factors. We are especially looking for women, people of colour and those who identify as having a disability in order to meet the 50:30 Challenge
Your support is critical to continue to grow the national voice and credibility of Cider Canada with government and other industry stakeholders. Thank you for your help in identifying and selecting the next Board of Directors.
We hope to see you all at the AGM for some important updates, and of course elections.
If you have any questions, or difficulty in completing the form, please contact Barry at info@cidercanada.ca.
Thank you!
Chris Nash – Nominations Coordinator for Cider Canada / Cidre Canada
